This ad is from the campaign its the one that was the most effective ad that they have had so far, and as a group we think that we can come up with something much better and much more stronger.
The action of the boy blocking his mouth is effective but also confusing. Ive only managed to get what the ad main massage at the end when the credits were coming up saying "The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing" but watching throughout the add I thought that the boy was holding his mouth because he wanted to keep quiet so that the people that are hurting other people would not see him and beat him up.
But I still think that this ad still does a grate job with trying to conveying the idea of encouraging witness to speak about the crime, which is what the campaign is trying to encourage.

This video was really intense, it was the most effective British Adverts.
I looked through this video because I wanted to research more on effective concept that we could use in our video. Most of them were really strong, and they were pretty creepy. We would have to have a grate cast group of people and a grate post production crew to get it done, but we are just a year 1 diploma moving image class with not much experience in the middle of Otara.
Coming up with and an easy but effective idea that we can work with, according to our budget and our experience and especially with the equipment that we have access too.
This ad didn't have any special camera movements or didn't need any pro actors which was pretty helpful. The ad was a easy and a grate idea.
This ad was also a grate idea and had camera work init. I like the simplicity in this ad it was straight straight forward.
This ad was interesting, I like the idea of having the point of view from the offender point of view. Which is a concept that is really effective if its portray well by the production crew
Looking throughout these videos made me realise that I need to start on in-depth research, so I started looking at ads that are made in NZ.
This ad was a grate example of having a simple idea with a simple script shoot very well. Their idea of minimising the script was a grate idea the audience is focused on how the boys friendship changes before the accident and after the accident. Throughout the ad the only words I heard was mate and Dave at the end, but even with less script writing, I still got the message that of calling him Dave instead of Mate at the end after the accident that there was a problem between the boys friendship and it was due to his drink and driving action.
